| Gibraltar and Jersey Regulators Update Agreement |

The Gibraltar Financial Services Commission has entered into an updated Memorandum
of Understanding (MoU) with the Financial Services Commission of Jersey.
This new Memorandum of Understanding supersedes the previous Memorandum dated
October 1998 and takes account of the expansion in both regulators’ supervisory
remit in recent years.
John Harris, Director General of the Jersey Financial Services Commission,
said:
“I am delighted to sign this updated Memorandum of Understanding with
the Financial Services Commission of Gibraltar. We have long had a close working
relationship with our regulatory colleagues in Gibraltar and this updated Memorandum
reaffirms each Commission’s commitment to the exchange of appropriate
regulatory information in relation to the finance sector businesses that each
regulates.”
Marcus Killick, Chief Executive of the Gibraltar Financial Services Commission,
said:
“In these times it is more important than ever that regulators cooperate
across national boundaries. Agreements such as these help ensure a structured,
effective approach to such cooperation.”
